Know when to let down the act,
Illusions of what isn’t a fact,
Hope between what is blurred,
Patterns of light in the darkness occurred,
The tears streamed out of my eyes,
I must put on this outward disguise,
I can’t let on that I feel this way,
A fragile glass carried on a silver tray,
Leverage carefully moving this thought,
The beverage has now been bought,
This is the time to not give up,
Just take one more sip from the cup,
Life is just that, one at a time,
Just as this is merely a rhyme.
