I trust I will see you again,
Although I may not know when,
You have taken flight into your world,
Now a woman grown from a little girl,
The dreams embraced as a child,
Within your mind, an imagination so wild,
Now you are exploring these dreams,
I have faith in you, the way it seems,
I’m grateful I have experienced your song,
An interlude; you have waited so long,
Your independence is known & respected,
With the words you said, I was directed,
To know this is what you want here,
Your laughter guided me to what you feel.
