Learning about Myself

I met her when I was twenty,
A good vibe & the love was plenty,
We helped each other to figure out our lives,
Sincere conversation to avoid lies,
We would walk & hold hands,
We talked about foreign lands,
We discussed what we should do,
Because of what we went through,
Good times, tough times, confusing times,
Trying to get over my time of crimes,
Something difficult to describe,
Things I want to hide,
Maybe I thought it was personal,
Yet it feels good to remember her.
