The days went fast,
The time went slow,
It felt like it was going to last,
The future led us where we would go,
We talked about God,
We talked about times missed,
She’d agree as she’d nod,
And then one day we kissed,
Was it the beginning of the end?
The end of the beginnings,
It was a vibe I wanted to send,
Why was I worried about sinning?
As things developed and things changed,
I was guided with feelings widely ranged.
