Knowing you’re doing the right thing,
May limit the possibilities that life brings,
But the feeling inside the soul,
Will get me through the time to pay the toll,
The impact on the world around me,
Leads to the closeness of friends and family,
And the innocence inside of me,
Like a child Christmas morning by the tree,
Any day that I need to face the fear,
Of temptations around me, closer than near,
Hopefully I remember to pray,
To think of heaven in some way,
And if I enter there, on that day,
I’ll know what to say.
